Hey, it's like Robert Gibbs so eloquently stated: anything for healthcare! There is no level this President won't stoop to in order to jam this unwanted crap sandwich that is the healthcare bill - and now he's buying votes by offering up seats on the bench. No joke -

Consider Congressman Matheson's record on the health care bill. He voted against the bill in the Energy and Commerce Committee back in July and again when it passed the House in November. But now he's "undecided" on ramming the bill through Congress. "The Congressman is looking for development of bipartisan consensus," Matheson's press secretary Alyson Heyrend wrote to THE WEEKLY STANDARD on February 22. "It’s too early to know if that will occur." Asked if one could infer that if no Republican votes in favor of the bill (i.e. if a bipartisan consensus is not reached) then Rep. Matheson would vote no, Heyrend replied: "I would not infer anything.  I’d wait to see what develops, starting with the health care summit on Thursday."

The timing of this nomination looks suspicious, especially in light of Democratic Congressman Joe Sestak's claim that he was offered a federal job not to run against Arlen Specter in the Pennsylvania primary. Many speculated that Sestak, a former admiral, was offered the Secretary of the Navy job.

Nancy Pelosi had some harsh words for the President on the lack of jobs - even though the unemployment numbers dipped slightly. Pelosi told the President he was the worst since Herbert Hoover on jobs adding, "Job losses are taking a real toll on the financial security of American families" while noting that  "while the national unemployment rate dropped slightly, it still stands at a near record high." Only one problem: these were Pelosi's words to President Bush in 2003. Ooops. Behar: Tebow could have been a rapist

On The View Whoopi Goldberg was wondering why anyone cared that the Tim Tebow pro-life commercial was airing during the Super Bowl -- a very good observation. That's when mental giant Joy Behar chimed in to educate the American people on why it's offensive. She argued that, "He could just as easily have become some kind of a rapist pedophile.  I mean, you don't know what someone's going to be." There's some grade A logic right there. Harry Reid is not a happy camper today, after President Obama once again took a jab at the city of Las Vegas, lecturing the American public not to waste their money in Vegas during tough economic times. Once again this President thinks he knows how to spend money better than the average person. Apparently he hasn't noticed his budget spends at least $1.6 trillion he doesn't have. Sarah Palin calls for Rahmbo to be fired

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin calls on Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, to be fired for his remarks demeaning to children and families of special needs. This isn't the first gaffe like this - Obama himself was on a late night TV show when he joked that he couldn't even bowl in the Special Olympics. Hilarious (sarcasm, Arianna). Glenn’s Mug

It was a rough year for magazines. They were hoping to find a way to continue putting Barack Obama’s mug on every cover issue, but instead they have a major dilemma. The President is steadily tanking in the ratings as he spends the country into oblivion. So they needed an alternative – and unfortunately for them Britney Spears hadn’t relapsed yet.  Fresh out of flesh, the magazines decided to go a different route: the villain. Time Magazine rolled out their September 28th issue with Glenn’s mug on the cover, along with the title ‘Mad Man: Glenn Beck and the angry style of American politics.’ Apparently Time hadn’t noticed the previous eight years of Bush bashing. Time wasn’t the only one. Glenn’s mug and references to Glenn started popping up all over the place this year – SNL did a parody as well as South Park. Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart viewed Glenn as show prep. Shows like Law and Order and Glee found a place for Glenn as well. Keep it coming, guys – Glenn has plenty of chins to go around, and his mug seemingly everywhere this year comes in at # 8 on our Top 10 Glenn 2009 countdown.

Lying sack of dog mess

There’s nothing quite like an ambush, and that’s exactly what happened to Glenn when he made an appearance on The View. Within mere moments, Glenn (who was not feeling well) was under full-fledged estrogen attack. Not surprisingly, the attack wasn’t related to anything of substance. It was about Glenn’s telling of a chance encounter he had on the train with Whoopi and Barbara. It’s an understandable angle to take if you are Whoopi Goldberg or Joy Behar because they’d have about the same chance of winning as a 13 year old would of escaping Roman Polanski. Whoopi’s attack culminated with her calling Glenn a ‘lying sack of dog mess’ during the hit job. Of course, Glenn was not lying, and Scott Baker laid out the timeline of events to prove it, making this ridiculous and baseless attack #7 on the Top Ten Glenn 2009 countdown.

Al Gore has been telling tall tales about the Earth for quite some time. If you think Miami will be underwater in a couple of decades then you've been listening to Al Gore speak. Finally, his lies caught up with him after claiming the Arctic Ocean would be free of summer ice by as soon as 2014. One problem with that fact - the scientist who Gore got the number from says Gore made up the number. Oops. Flat Earther Glenn Beck responds to the mighty Goracle. ( Transcript

Healthcare 'compromise' planned?

Not shockingly, the media did not bother to look any further on the sudden 'compromise' by Democrats to drop the public option. Why would Nancy Pelosi and the gang just fold and give in to this demand? Probably because it's not really going away. That's according to Chris Matthews of MSNBC. Most people think of West Point as friendly, unless you are a terrorist and now apparently TV hosts on MSNBC. Glenn reacts to that audio and the actual speech, which of course included the usual apologies for America's past mistakes.
