I will praise Your Name Jesus, Oh Lord, for it is good. For He will deliver us out of ALL TROUBLE.... And our eye's will see its desire upon our enemies...Psalm 54

SOMETIMES WE JUST NEED TO BE REMINDED!

A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill.  In  the room of 200 he asked, " Who would likie this $20.00 bill?"....Hands started going up everywhere.  He said," I am giving it to one of you but first let me do this.
He  proceeded to crumple  up the $20.00 bill. He asked then," Who still wants it?"  Still the hands went up in the air.  Then he replied, "What if I do this?" and he  dropped it on the floor and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.He picked it up,now crumpled and dirty.  "Now, who still wants it?" Again the hands went up in the air.  "My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.  No matter what I did to this money, you still want it because it did not decrease in value.  It  was still worth $20.00.  Many times  in our lives, we are dropped,crumbled,and ground into the dirt by the  decisions we make, the circumstances that come our way.  We feel as though we are worthless.  But no matter what has happened to you or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean,crumpled or finely creased,YOU ARE STILL PRICELESS TO THE ONES YOU LOVE.The worth of our lives  comes not in what we do or who  we know,but  by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.
YOU ARE SPECIAL -DON'T EVER FORGET IT".
If you do not pass this on to your  friends, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to,or the hope that it can bring.
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND REMEMBER  AMATEURS BUILT THE ARK AND  PROFESSIONALS BUILD THE TITANIC".

MATTHEW 6 : 25-30

Do Not Worry
 25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]?

 28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

If you abide in Me and My WORD abides in you, you will ASK what you desire, and it SHALL be done for you......John 15:7

SONG: HOLD ME UP...A MUST LISTEN!

AND NOW MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND MAY THE LORD KEEP YOU AND MAY THE LORD MAKE HIS FACE TO SHINE UPON YOU AND MAY THE LORD BE GRACIOUS UNTO YOU AND MAY THE LORD GIVE YOU HIS PEACE.  MAY THE LORD MAKE YOU THE INSTRUMENT THROUGH WHICH HE BRINGS THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL TO THE MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY TO BE SAVED.  GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART.  BE PATIENT AND BE PERSISTENT AND GOD WILL GIVE YOU YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL HARVEST, IN JESUS’ NAME.

FRANKLIN GRAHAM- MAY 2010

From Franklin Graham’s letter*:

From the beginning of time, people have been on a search for something to hope in. Many ask, “Who can provide such hope?” This is the question I will answer when I travel to Brazil in a few days. We will be holding a Crusade in the third largest city in that country, Belo Horizonte. The message we preach will center on man’s longing for hope and where it comes from. The Bible says, “Your word [Lord] is my source of hope” (Psalm 119:114, NLT).

FOR EVILDOERS SHALL BE CUT OFF

Psalm 37

Of David.

 1 [a] Do not fret because of evil men
       or be envious of those who do wrong;

 2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
       like green plants they will soon die away.

 3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
       dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

 4 Delight yourself in the LORD
       and he will give you the desires of your heart.

 5 Commit your way to the LORD;
       trust in him and he will do this:

 6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
       the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
       do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
       when they carry out their wicked schemes.

 8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
       do not fret—it leads only to evil.

 9 For evil men will be cut off,
       but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

 10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
       though you look for them, they will not be found.

 11 But the meek will inherit the land
       and enjoy great peace.

 12 The wicked plot against the righteous
       and gnash their teeth at them;

 13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
       for he knows their day is coming.

 14 The wicked draw the sword
       and bend the bow
       to bring down the poor and needy,
       to slay those whose ways are upright.

 15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
       and their bows will be broken.

 16 Better the little that the righteous have
       than the wealth of many wicked;

 17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
       but the LORD upholds the righteous.

 18 The days of the blameless are known to the LORD,
       and their inheritance will endure forever.

 19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
       in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

 20 But the wicked will perish:
       The LORD's enemies will be like the beauty of the fields,
       they will vanish—vanish like smoke.

 21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
       but the righteous give generously;

 22 those the LORD blesses will inherit the land,
       but those he curses will be cut off.

 23 If the LORD delights in a man's way,
       he makes his steps firm;

 24 though he stumble, he will not fall,
       for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

 25 I was young and now I am old,
       yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
       or their children begging bread.

 26 They are always generous and lend freely;
       their children will be blessed.

 27 Turn from evil and do good;
       then you will dwell in the land forever.

 28 For the LORD loves the just
       and will not forsake his faithful ones.
       They will be protected forever,
       but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;

 29 the righteous will inherit the land
       and dwell in it forever.

 30 The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom,
       and his tongue speaks what is just.

 31 The law of his God is in his heart;
       his feet do not slip.

 32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous,
       seeking their very lives;

 33 but the LORD will not leave them in their power
       or let them be condemned when brought to trial.

 34 Wait for the LORD
       and keep his way.
       He will exalt you to inherit the land;
       when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

 35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
       flourishing like a green tree in its native soil,

 36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
       though I looked for him, he could not be found.

 37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
       there is a future [b] for the man of peace.

 38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
       the future [c] of the wicked will be cut off.

 39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
       he is their stronghold in time of trouble.

 40 The LORD helps them and delivers them;
       he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
       because they take refuge in him.

He's on Your Side

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"'Don't be afraid,' the prophet answered. 'Those who are with us are more than those who are with them'"
(2 Kings 6:16, NIV)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Everyone has times when they feel overwhelmed or "outnumbered" by the things that are coming against them. You may have heard the saying, "When it rains, it pours." For example, just about the time the air conditioner needs repair in your house, the transmission goes out in your car. It seems like one thing after another. It may feel as if all the forces of darkness are coming against you, but the scripture promises that with God on your side, you have all the resources you need to have complete victory. You are never outnumbered because the Greater One lives in you!

The next time you're feeling anxious, fearful, or worried about anything, remember He's on your side. If God is for you, who can be against you? He promises to guide and protect you and lead you into victory in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

"Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. Thank You for Your peace even in the midst of the storms of life. I know that You are with me, and I can stand strong because You will lead me into victory all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

The Heritage of the Believer

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper…"
(Isaiah 54:17, NKJ)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

As a believer in Jesus, you have certain privileges because you belong to Christ. When you chose Him, God put a blood line around you that the enemy cannot cross. As long as you're keeping Him first place, you have a hedge of protection, a hedge of favor, a hedge of mercy surrounding you like a shield. When difficulties come, God says that because you're His child, because you honor Him, even though that problem has formed, in the end it is not going to prosper. When it's all said and done, it's not going to harm you. God is going to turn it around and use it to your advantage. That's your heritage as a believer!

Notice it doesn't say we'll never have problems. No, life is full of difficulties. The promise God is making to us is that when things do come against us, because you're in covenant relationship with Him, you can stay in peace knowing that it is not going to prosper. He has already paved the way for you to live in victory in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

" Father in heaven, thank You for the promises found in Your Word. I choose today to accept Your truth which sets me free. I declare by faith that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
