You know what happened in Massachusetts - voters elected Republican Scott Brown to fill the late Sen. Ted Kennedy's old seat (one held by Democrats continuously since January of 1953!), denying the President a filibuster-proof, 60-vote ''supermajority'' that could have rushed the health care bill through the Senate. Last week's election was a resounding repudiation of the Democrat's agenda, including health care.
But now it appears Sen. Reid and Speaker Pelosi may be figuring out a way to do it anyway.
Sen. Reid is suspiciously refusing to seat the new Senator ... it's been six days since the election!
He claims he has to wait for the results of the vote to be ''certified'' - even though Ted Kennedy himself was sworn in within 48 hours of his own election.
This is nothing but a devious Congressional tactic to take advantage of a parliamentary technicality to force-feed something to the public that they clearly DO NOT WANT.
Speaker Pelosi has declared, ''We WILL move forward with health care'' - regardless of what the voters of Massachusetts - or the majority of Americans - have to say about it!
Some are pushing for ''reconciliation'' of the health care bills already passed by the House and the Senate - bills that are different enough that they would have to be meshed into a single bill.
But the resulting bill would only need a 51-vote majority in the Senate. So ''reconciliation'' becomes another way to bypass the Massachusetts voters and 40 other Senators representing millions upon millions of people who are saying: NO, DON'T PASS THIS LEGISLATION.
We have been sounding off - speaking for millions of Americans - calling daily for Congress to push the ''reset'' button on the health care issue.
But the President's allies refuse to hear the people anymore. It appears they will literally do anything they can, anything they need to do, to get their way on this.
The President's spokesperson claims that the White House is working with leaders on Capitol Hill, trying to figure out the ''best path forward.''
But it's bogus. They know exactly what they're doing.

It is now clear that Harry Reid used the abortion debate as
a smokescreen. How despicable! Now, I believe we must
mount a massive response in the next 48 hours or
ObamaCare could sail through. Here's why...

Just as we expected, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid rushed the
debate on an abortion amendment - with virtually no notice or
public debate - and cynically used it as a smokescreen attempt
to appease pro-life Americans.
As you know, the Senate voted 54-45 to "table" the Nelson-Hatch-Casey
pro-life amendment, meaning it has been set aside and effectively
rejected. Reid rushed the vote on abortion to keep it out of
the public eye.
If Reid's bill passes in its current form, our tax dollars
WILL be used to fund abortions. As I have been sharing
with you, I believe this has been their plan all along!
Meanwhile, just hours after the vote, Senate Democratic health
care negotiators announced that they had reached a compromise
on the so-called "public option."
This was another highly divisive issue in the bill, but with this
compromise, Reid is now significantly closer to gaining his 60
votes. Obviously, this was also his plan: Get the abortion vote
out of the way and negotiate around the "public option" obstacle.
By design, the abortion amendment never had a chance of
passing. It's truly a slap in the face to the vast majority of
Americans who do not want their tax dollars paying for
abortion. He intends to force it down our throats!
++I am outraged at the entire ObamaCare process!
When President Obama spoke to the Joint Session of Congress in
August, he said the health care bill would not fund abortion.
He lied to Congress and to the American people!
As I assess Harry Reid's bill - over 2,000 pages with its abortion
mandates, multi-trillion-dollar price tag to taxpayers, rising
insurance premiums for most Americans, rationed care, and the
imposition of government control over our health care choices
and freedoms - it leaves me angry and disgusted.
If something is really good for America, why engage in dirty
politics? Why retreat to the "back room" every week to try
to strike a new deal to cobble together 60 votes? It's
because a clear majority of Americans oppose this so-called
"reform" and our elected officials know it.
That's why we MUST continue to oppose ObamaCare and
the government takeover of the most advanced health care
system in the world!
++The next 48 hours are crucial... please contact your Senators!
If pro-life and pro-family citizens are silent now, then Senators
will feel justified in ignoring our viewpoint. Given the slightest
opening, Harry Reid and his socialist allies will rush ObamaCare
to passage.

battle over efforts to re-write our history and remove references
to our Judeo-Christian heritage from their textbooks.
The Texas State Board of Education will soon finalize the language
that publishers use to align their textbooks to current "acceptable
standards." Many of the suggestions that are coming forward are
shocking:
+Replacing the term "American" with "Global Citizen."
+Stating that students need to be shaped "for responsible
citizenship in a global society."
+Removing all references to Daniel Boone, General George
Patton, Nathan Hale, and Columbus Day.
+Replacing "expansionism and free enterprise" with
"imperialism and capitalism."
+Even stripping "Christmas Day" from all textbooks.
And since it is one of the nation's largest states, Texas greatly
influences the textbooks and ultimately the curricula employed by
many other states. Tens of millions of children will likely be
impacted.

What do you call it when a radical minority forces its will
on the law-abiding majority? The Obama/Pelosi/Reid power axis
would have us call it "progressive leadership." The Founders

I am not surprised that socialist leaders Reid, Pelosi and Obama
are once again meeting behind closed doors. It is now obvious
they have no intention of appointing a Conference Committee to
openly reconcile the House and Senate versions of ObamaCare.
That would give the American people, the majority of
whom now reject Obama's vision of healthcare reform,
too much of an opportunity to demand accountability!
While campaigning for President, Obama promised that "we'll
have negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can
see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents."
Yet Brian Lamb, CEO of C-SPAN, is now bitterly complaining that
his service has been denied ANY access to the crucial meetings
taking place to determine ObamaCare's final form.
++Americans are losing confidence in the legislative process
At every step of the way in ObamaCare's long march through Congress,
the liberal Democrat leaders have used trickery and overt
manipulation to thwart the American people's legitimate concerns
about the socialist takeover of our medical system.
Now, on the brink of a bill being presented to President Obama
for signature, we still have NO resolution on:
* Abortion coverage Americans don't want
* Exorbitant costs Americans don't want
* Mandatory participation Americans don't want
* New federal bureaucracies Americans don't want

++ ObamaCare is being kept out of the light because it is unlawful
There are MANY reasons why Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will allow
no one but their closest insiders - and the White House arm twisters,
of course - to see the final bill until they can force a final vote.
For one thing, its "Tooth Fairy" accounting can't stand up to even
mild scrutiny.
But the biggest reason is that Congress has NO AUTHORITY to force
its socialist healthcare agenda on citizens and businesses in the

Every version of ObamaCare we've seen so far is unconstitutional
because:
1) Congress has NO authority to force every American to
carry insurance coverage, and,
2) Congress has NO authority to fine employers whose
policies do not have the mandated coverage.
No matter the desires of certain elected officials, there are some
things Congress just cannot do! The threat to our liberty posed
by ObamaCare goes FAR beyond healthcare. If Congress can get away
with this expansive power grab, then individual liberty and state
sovereignty will vanish.
BOTH the Senate and House versions of "healthcare reform" are
patently unconstitutional!

healthcare bill passes, it must be strongly challenged in the federal
